Business Development Advisory Analyst

One of the largest digital currency companies in the United States is looking to hire a Business Development Analyst to support its business development team in Washington, D.C. This job is ideally suited for a recent graduate (within the last 2-3 years) with a fintech, business, engineering or communications related degree who is interested in learning about financial technology, blockchain, and digital tokens. The ideal candidate will be a driven, fast-learning individual with financial acumen, who previously worked in a demanding, high-paced environment. Fluency in languages in addition to English is preferred, but not required.

The Business Development Analyst will report to the Director of Business Development. The Business Development Analyst’s main responsibilities will include conducting industry research and statistical analysis, creating meaningful data visualizations and reports, building customer relationships and performing detailed records/data tracking. A successful individual in this role will have a natural analytical way of thinking and be able to explain and present complex concepts to non-technical users.


  • Developing and maintaining client relationships via in person and through correspondence
  • Conducting regular research and analysis on market insights, business opportunities, industry trends, new technologies and more.
  • Using previous experience and skills to interpret data, analyze findings and identify specific areas of the company that would be affected, predicting both the positive and negative results of any possible changes and making recommendations.
  • Creating accurate and meaningful charts, graphs, models and other data visuals.
  • Tracking and recording metrics, data and statistics on company performance, connections, client retention, customer retention and finances on a regular basis.


  • College degree is required in business, communications, law or other related discipline.
  • •Willing and able to travel up to 25% (domestic and international).
  • •Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint: Must have strong presentation skills and demonstrated experience.
  • •Excellent time management skills and the ability to work independently, multitask and problem solve.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Possess a personality that is equally comfortable building client relationships and working back office analyzing metrics and documents.
  • •Dedication to adhere to the highest level of discretion and confidentiality regarding all aspects of their work and knowledge of the company
