Bittrex, the premier U.S. blockchain trading platform, is hiring a Technical Writer. The Bittrex team’s Technical Writer will work in collaboration to develop internal corporate documents, including policies and procedures, to comply with Systems and Standards as delineated by the Bittrex leadership team, the Chief Compliance and Ethics Officer, the Customer Service and Operations team and other key stakeholders in the company. Successful candidates will incorporate logic, clarity, detail, common and consistent language in descriptions and explanations. Diagrams and examples will be an important supplement to the written word and provide understanding to the reader.

This role will also manage the creation and oversight of a variety of documents involving the policies and operations of a digital currency exchange. Requires the ability to understand and convey technical and legal concepts into a clear, unambiguous manner. Requires good analytical skills and to understand and resolve issues, and then express them in a clear and concise manner to a variety of different audiences.

Responsible for record keeping and maintenance of the library of current SOP docs as well as an archive of all previous versions. This role is expected to make contributions and recommendations as they learn from the various teams and individuals about the Bittrex platform, process, policies, etc. In the process of researching and documenting procedures, the Technical Writer sometimes discovers inconsistencies, ambiguous or imprecise descriptions, and / or errors. It’s important to own the job and have passion around the mission of bringing clarity and accuracy to Bittrex materials.


  • Proficient with technical platforms and programs such as Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Text Expander, Slack, Zoom, Skype, Snagit; advanced graphics programs a plus.
  • Strong command of written language, grammar and usage, vocabulary, style, presentation logic.
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills. A successful candidate will be required to work with a broad spectrum of legal, technical and business stakeholders in order to produce documents that accurately capture Bittrex policies, procedures and workflows.
